This month's Cape Cod events calendar features the Rotary Club's Home and Garden Show, opening day of the Cape Cod Maritime Museum's 2020 season, and the big St. Patrick's Day Parade and celebrations.
If spring makes an early appearance this year (fingers crossed for that!), March will be a fantastic month for beachcombing, nature walks, and bike riding, too.
Indoors and out, there are plenty of fun things to do on the Cape in March!

Where: Cape Cod Museum of Natural History, Rt. 6A, Brewster
Admission: Adults $15; seniors (65+) $10; children (3-12) $6; under 3 FREE; active duty military and immediate family FREE with current military ID.

Our Natural History Museum is a wonderful place to visit, especially in March when crowds are virtually non-existent.
Bring the young 'uns to learn all about the animals that make the Cape their home. Take part in a birdwatching excursion. Learn about our toothy denizens of the deep from local shark experts. Spend time exploring the museum's fascinating exhibits and walking the nature trails. There's something for the whole family at CCNMH!
Note: Reservations/extra fee required for some special programs.
When: March 7, 2020, begins at 11:00 a.m.
Where: Starts at Long Pond Drive and Rt. 28 in South Yarmouth and ends at Town n Country Motel on Rt. 28 in West Yarmouth
More Info: Cape Cod St. Pat's Parade
One of the most anticipated Cape Cod events in March, the St. Paddy's Day parade honors the Irish with the wearin' of the green and a 2 mile-long parade featuring floats, marching bands, beautiful Colleens, and plenty of parade beads to go around!
When: March 10, 2020, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Where: Cape Cod Beer, 1336 Phinneys Lane, Hyannis, MA
Admission: $20 per person
More Info: Cape Cod Beer
Dust off your dancin' boots and head out to the Brewery for an evening of great music, great brews and tons of heel-tapping fun!
Don't know how to line dance? No problem! The experts will show you how it's done. Then the dance floor opens for everyone (including folks like me who have "two left feet"!) to stomp, slide and boogie to their heart's content.
Oh, I should also mention that the dance lesson and a free pint are included in the cost of admission. :-)
When: March 28 & 29, 2020; Sat. 10 am - 5 pm, Sun. 10 am - 4 pm
Where: Barnstable High School, West Main Street, Hyannis
Admission: $6 for adults, children under 12 free
More Info: Hyannis Rotary Club
This longstanding annual event brings together more than 150 vendors showcasing the latest products and services for home, garden and a healthy lifestyle.
With food, raffles, gifts, door prizes, 5K and 10K runs, and kids' activities rounding out the show's attractions, it's not surprising that this is one of the most popular early spring events on Cape Cod!
