First up is Hyannis Marathon Weekend. Then comes our big St. Patrick's Day Parade.
The popular Hyannis Home, Garden & Lifestyle Show will be back this month, too.
Throughout the month, there's be lots of fun on Cape Cod for the whole family!

One of the premier Cape Cod events of the winter season, this weekend kicks off on Friday with a 5Km Fun Run. Saturday features an autograph signing session with Boston Marathon winner, Bill Rodgers. And Sunday is the big day for the Hyannis Marathon, Half Marathon and Marathon Team Relay.
The Race Expo, special dinner events, the awards ceremonies and a post-race party round out the weekend's festivities.

As we wrap up the winter season, Chatham Bars Inn's events calendar heats up with fun and creative events including floral design and jewelry-making classes, "Painting & Prosecco", wine tastings, calligraphy, astronomy, and iPhone photography classes and much more.

One of the most anticipated Cape Cod events in March, the St. Paddy's Day parade honors the Irish with the wearin' of the green and a 2 mile-long parade featuring floats, marching bands, beautiful Colleens, and plenty of parade beads to go around!

During the winter months, the popular Orleans Farmers Market is held indoors at the Old Firehouse.

Our Natural History Museum is a wonderful place to visit, especially in March when crowds are virtually non-existent.
Bring the young 'uns to learn all about the animals that make the Cape their home. Spend time exploring the museum's fascinating exhibits and walking the nature trails.

Put on your dancin' shoes for this fun event at Preservation Hall!
Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with Outermost Contra Dance! Swing your partner, dosido your friends and neighbors, and let the music guide your feet!
Experienced Rhode Island caller Paul Wilde will be calling a variety of contra dances, ceilidh dances and mixers. Each dance will be taught with a thorough walk-through before the live music starts, with the intent of making all beginners feel comfortable.
Paul will be calling to the music of the Celtic duo, Billy and Beth on fiddle and piano, playing music from the Scottish, Irish, French Canadian, Bluegrass, and Appalachian fiddle traditions.
Along with the fun and easy dancing, Lianna Montgomery will be demonstrating her Irish Dance expertise during the break.
To celebrate the luck of the Irish, there will be a raffle for a beautiful vintage hand-screened Irish Blessing. If you bring a friend who's new to contra dancing, you both will get a free raffle ticket!
Everyone is welcome at this family friendly event, from total beginners to expert dancers. Bring a partner, or come solo. There are plenty of friendly people in this welcoming dance community.

Mark your calendars for March 18th when the world-famous Whydah Pirate Museum celebrates the 334th birthday of notorious pirate Captain Samuel "Black Sam" Bellamy.
Kids will love this birthday party event which includes telescope-making, selecting your own pirate name, crafting treasure maps, and even signing the pirate Articles. Don't miss it!

At age 28, in the prime of his pirating life, Black Sam's flagship "Whydah
Gally" went down in a massive storm off the coast of Cape Cod. The Whydah's wreckage was discovered in 1984, and the museum holds much of the real pirate treasure.

Ticket proceeds from this event support Flower Angels and its mission of repurposing donated flowers into floral arrangements for delivery to Cape Cod nursing home residents.
