Connecting Flights to Cape Cod

If you've already looked for a flight to the Cape, you've probably noticed that all long-distance flights will require at least one connection, usually through Logan Airport in Boston.

What you might not have noticed is how much time and money that Boston-Cape Cod leg adds to your travel.

A quick example:

  • A flight from Tampa FL to Cape Cod with one connection (Boston)

Current round-trip fare for one adult: around $550.00
Total one-way flight time: 7 hours, 55 minutes

  • A non-stop flight from Tampa FL to Boston

Current round-trip fare for one adult: around $275.00
Total one-way flight time: 2 hours, 57 minutes

The moral of the story ...

Avoid that last connecting flight if at all possible.

Instead, fly to Boston MA or Providence RI. Then use another form of transportation (rental car, bus, etc.) to get to Cape Cod. You'll save a bundle of time and money!
