In the summer months on Cape Cod, music fills the air at our local bandstands, town greens and beaches.

No matter where you're staying on Cape Cod, you'll find a free outdoor concert nearby, nearly every night of the week.

This past summer, some concert series were canceled due to the virus, others started later in the year than usual. 

The days/times you'll see below are for a "normal" year. I expect the event sponsors will announce their 2021 summer concert schedules announced in early spring. Stay tuned!

What To Bring to an Outdoor Concert 

When we're off to a concert at the beach or village green, there are two things my hubby and I never leave home without:     


Easy-Carry Chairs

These light-weight "backpack" chairs are great for outdoor concerts, movies under the stars, and for the beach, too. 

Stash your stuff in the attached storage pouch, then walk hands-free. No need to feel like a pack mule. Just sling 'em over your shoulder and you're good to go!

FYI: The backpack chairs sit low to the ground. People with mobility problems find it easier to use a taller chair. 
 



When our elders are here for a visit, these "easy-in/easy-out" chairs work much better for them!

Bug Repellent

Summer evenings are "gnat time" near the ocean - and inland, too.

For some reason, the teensy little biters like me a whole lot more than they like my hubby. Probably because I'm so much sweeter than he is. ;-)

So a good bug repellent is an absolute must for me. These Repel wipes always do the trick!
