Best Way from Bourne Bridge to Rt. 3 Heading to Boston

by Susan

Question: What is the best way to go over the Bourne Bridge but then get back to Route 3 and head to Boston?

Dee's Reply: Hi Susan - It's easy. Once you're over the Bourne Bridge, take the first exit and follow the signs for Route 6 toward Sagamore Beach.

Once you're on Rt. 6, you'll go probably 3-4 miles or so, and you'll see signs for Route 3 and Route 3A to Boston.

Essentially what you'll be doing is coming over the Bourne Bridge, paralleling the Canal on the mainland side, and heading back toward the Sagamore Bridge.

Here's a link to my maps page. On the satellite map, you can use the + and - buttons to zoom in and see where the exits are and where Routes 3 and 3A meet up with Route 6.

Hope this helps!

Best Regards,

Dee
